Use Assetszy Plugin inside DaVinci Resolve Studio
Both Windows & macOS versions are fully supported. Note: Requires DaVinci Resolve Studio to run.
How to Install & Setup
Follow the step-by-step instructions below to deploy the Assetszy plugin inside DaVinci Resolve Studio.
Download the Setup File
Download the Windows installer by clicking the Windows Version button. It downloads the single-file setup executable (Assetszy_Setup.exe) directly from our server.
Run the Installer
Double-click the downloaded Assetszy_Setup.exe file on your computer. When the setup wizard opens, click the Install Now button. The installer automatically detects your DaVinci Resolve directory and deploys the plugin package.
Restart & Launch Resolve
Close DaVinci Resolve Studio if it was open, then restart it. Open any project, and in the top menu bar click on: Workspace > Workflow Integrations > Assetszy to launch your new asset dock!
Download & Extract Zip
Download the macOS package by clicking the macOS Version button. Once the Assetszy_Mac.zip is downloaded, extract it to a directory on your Mac.
Run install-mac.command
Double-click on the extracted install-mac.command script file. This opens a Terminal window, copies the plugin files system-wide, and automatically clears the Apple Gatekeeper security flags.
Provide Admin Password
When prompted in the Terminal window, type your Mac's lock-screen/administrator password and press Enter. Note: For terminal security, no characters or dots will display on the screen while you type.
Restart & Launch Resolve
Open DaVinci Resolve Studio. Open any project, and launch the plugin from: Workspace > Workflow Integrations > Assetszy.
chmod +x install-mac.command and try again. Alternatively, if Gatekeeper throws a verification error, run: sudo xattr -cr "/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Workflow Integration Plugins/com.assetszy.resolve.plugin".
